Epidemiology of Different Types of Cancer in District Dera Ghazi Khan, Pakistan

Aim: Cancer incidence are rising but its prevalence in District Dera Ghazi is not available on government or private level. Therefore, it difficult to deal with cancer about statistics and specific type prevalence. Our study was aimed find the of various tehsils Khan District, along trend from 2015 2021. Method:This a cross-sectional study, conducted three includes; DG Khan, Taunsa Tribal area. A self-made questionnaire used assess form of;gender discrimination, prominent types, number death per year, cases live patients individuals survived. Results:Total 817 were included this 415 belong area tehsil. Total 350 female reported 173 affected by breast mostly them urban Breast, blood, liver, throat stomach cancers most prevalent district. Highest proportion aged between 25 65 years. rate found be increasing order (68) 2020 (116). 2021 recorded 109 deaths. 157 under treatment only 18 could have recovered last 5 Conclusion:Cancer highly especially tribal Reason for high might presence radioactive elements environment, illiteracy unavailability early diagnose center District.
